  Soma Purkait

I am currently a special associate professor at Department of Mathematics, Tokyo Institute of Technology. My research interests broadly lie in number theory and specifically on modular forms, newform theory, automorphic forms and representations.

I am an organizer of Number Theory in Tokyo conference. The program of the conference can be found here.

Teaching

I am currently teaching a graduate course on Modular forms and undergraduate courses on Linear Algebra I , Linear Algebra II , Calculus I , Calculus II .
Previously, I was a lecturer for MA3H1 Topics in Number Theory at University of Warwick.
