�@I willl talk about a special type of variation 
of asymptotic Bargman metrics,  which we came 
across in the study of uniqueness of extremal 
K\"ahler metrics modulo holomorphic automorphisms. 
In the course of the talk, the second fundamental form 
for the geometry of K\"ahler potentials will also be discussed.
